Exploit Concept Of Designing

There are many designers and graphic artist out there who are trying their hands on a different artwork. Just recently, the focus has been turning to the business of t-shirts. Many graphic artist Brisbane are playing with their design and putting such cool designs on t-shirts has become a favorite pastime. Some have even turned it into a big business given that t-shirt is a favorite casual wear of many. 

For those who are just starting out trying their hand in doing designs on a t-shirt like that on printed hoodies, it can be a very difficult time. Trying to get your hand around the basics may not be immediately obvious. However, the following tips should be able to get you, or any other beginner started. 

Exploit the concept

You may have your concept and may ready to jump into printing immediately. However, it may be better to think about your concept. Look at it from different angles and try to see what could be done to improve on it. If possible allow time to sleep over it and see if you still think the same of your concept.

Pay attention to detail

A well-created designs will surely catch the eye of most people, and when it comes to creating designs for t-shirts, you want it to be catchy. This is what will make the difference between your designs and those of others. While you may want to make your designs as detailed as possible, you should also remember that making it simple is better. Simple designs are better and may sell more.

Mockup the t-shirt

Even the best design may look like rubbish on a t-shirt. As you design, try to imagine what your design will look like when placed on a t-shirt. If you can, get a t-shirt mock up for your design. If you are getting fabric for mock up difficult, consider using digital t-shirts for the mockup.

Know your market

As you spend time designing there is a reason you are designing and the people you are targeting. This is what should be on your mind as you make the design for your t-shirts. Are designing for children? Are you designing for adults? Are you designing for women? Are you designing for men? Alternatively, are you designing for young people?

Use colors correctly

Colors will add life to your design, but they should used correctly. If done wrongly they may add to the cost of printing. If you try to use your artwork correctly, you are sure to be the darling of the printers.

Get a printer

After your design is ready, you will need to search for a good printer. Check out the reputable companies and talk to the different ones which are ready to work with you.
